Bee City!

I`m just now finally getting around to posting pictures of our trip to Bee City! It`s such a wonderful place. We`ve never been there before, which seems utterly crazy now that we`ve gone. It`s the most awesome little place. So many animals to see and feed. If you`re ever in the Summerville SC area, I recommend you go. It`s only $4 a person (ages 3 and up), 2.50 for a bunch of monkey and barn animals food! So fun.
Here are some pictures of our trip

------------------------------------------------------------

We loved the bunnies! SO cute and friendly, they are very used to people. (You can buy 1 for just $10! We have way too many pets as it is though)

Prairie Dog

Lemurs! They are sweet, they hold your hand when you feed them <3

Joey loved the turkeys, they were really pretty, especially this one with a rainbow colored head.

Little slider was a cutie. He was balancing on this log, just tipping side to side (never fell) so it looked like he was surfing.

This is a pancake turtle. Weeeird.

Goats are so nice, it`s strange. No other goat can hold a candle to this guy though! He was so weird, the way he acted, and his teeth. He ended up goading me into feeding him though. My fingers are thankfully intact. He was nice :)

Little trail around the back of the park

This wooden train was so cool, I want one!

We had a great day, I can`t wait to go again! Unlike a zoo, you get so much up-close and personal time, I can`t imagine it ever getting old.

Playing with Boys.

I haven`t written in a week! To be quite honest, I haven`t been up to doing much these past few days :/ But I`ll be more "bloggy" next week.
------------------------
The other day I got to see my niece and nephew, it was so nice to have the kids be able to play together (sadly, it does happen very often) Here are some cute pictures my mom took of them playing and have a blast!

If you`ve noticed the giant bump on my head, I smacked it on the window sill while sleeping, it hurts and was huge, but it is finally starting to get better, thank goodness. It looked horrible!

----------------------------

I also managed to get in some thrifting time (yay)
And.. I got 2 (of the rarest) Irmi lamps!!! So exciting.

These are not my pictures, but I have the exact same models. I haven`t gotten around to taking pictures yet.
They are beautiful though. There are music boxes built into it and they are 100% hand crafted.
I will be selling the girly piano one on etsy laster this upcoming week, if you are farmiliar with the brand and interested, let me know.

-------------
And last, but not least, some pictures of the kids playing with their RC cars they recieved from their Grandma-Mary. :)

The Week

It`s been a busy week and I haven`t taken quite as many pictures as usual. Valentines Day was awesome and a lot of fun, and then last night I had a relaxing evening of going to thrift stores, then brought my brother, Alex, home to spend the night.
Played a lot of video games, ate pizza and had an all around good time. The boys (Billy and Joey) were a liiiiittle insane from excitement, but it`s all good, haha.

Here are a couple of photos from the last few days.

Bath Time

Yummy Valentines Day dinner Micah made for me

A picture I drew for the kids to color.

A picture Billy took of me

My favorite thrift acquisition, a Fox ring.

Have a great weekend! Stay safe, it`s supposed to storm like crazy (here in Summerville atleast).

Happy Valentines Day!

It`s the Day of Love, and I love it :)
We had a great day, right now Micah is making us some delicious food! It smells so yummy, I am starving, lol.
The kids and I have been busy the last few days, making cupcakes & Valentines for our mamas!

These are the ones I made:

Valentines for Moms

Also made some for our boys (mini)

Here are some of the cards the kids made
(Billy is getting SO good at writing, I literally just have to name the letter to spell a word and he knows how to write it!)

And now my pride and joy, the cupcakes I made for us and our Mamas:
I found these awesome melamine plates at target, it`s like they were made to display these flower cakes!!

I figured it out and it turns out I cut out almost 300 petals to make enough flower cupcakes for 2 a person! Phew. They were worth it though. So pretty and delish.:)
------------------

The kids were so great about waiting for Micah to come home until we exchanged V-day presents! I was surprised.
They got some candy and a little toy.
While Micah started dinner, they started a painting project.

Micah and Bella

Billy laying down in Joey`s bed, and the kitties sleeping in the hutch behind it, they are pretty frickin` awesome! ;)

-------
A Valentines (or whenever) treat to make.
I originally saw this on another blog, but I cannot for the life of me remember which one. So, credit for the person responsible for this!
First take a batch of strawberries, cut off the top, and use a melon baller to core out the middle
This is how they should look:
Next (or before, whatever) make cheesecake, you can either make cheesecake from scratch, buy a refrigerated tub, or get a no-bake mix (I got the no-bake, it was a $1.50 at wall-mart, it`s easy still tastes good, and I really didn`t have time for extra baking this weekend)

Then Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs

They were really, really good. If you try this, I am sure you will love it too!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
Love
